Who am I? I'm an aspiring front end web developer with a love of responsive web design. I'm an outside-the-box thinker who loves learning about technology and web development as much as I love learning about science and geek culture. I'm a superhero customer service agent with over a decade of heroic experience. I'm a hobby YouTuber and wanna-be mad scientist who will enact my dastardly plan once I've played through all the games in my Steam library.
For over two years, I have been teaching myself front end web development using online resources, such as Treehouse, Code Academy, and YouTube tutorials. I’ve learned a ton, and continue to learn more and more each day.
HTML5, CSS3
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Git
Angular.js, React, Node.js, PHP
I currently work part-time doing site maintenance for the website RobertRahula.com. The work I do includes using HTML and CSS to: modify and update content, add text and images to existing pages, create links to Amazon seller's pages, and advising on future layout and content updates. I also proofread site content for grammatical errors, and use Adobe Photoshop to resize and edit images for the web.
I have also gained technical experience from student assignments and personal projects. My continuous education and perseverence foster my professional growth in the amazing world of web development!
Below are samples of projects showcasing my knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery. Each image is an embed from my CodePen page. These examples demonstrate what I have learned, and what I am continuing to learn.

I'm a self-taught illustrator and comic book artist, and have worked on several freelance projects over the past two decades. Pencil and paper are my medium of choice, though I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for color, text, and layout designs. I started out as a child, drawing my favorite comic book, cartoon, or video game characters (my Battletoads and Sonic the Hedgehog comics are hilariously bad). As I got older, I acquired several books on drawing techniques and anatomy, which helped me improve my skills and refine my style.
Over the years I have worked on everything from logo design to fan-art to full color comic strips. I enjoy working with clients to bring their artistic visions to life, from creating a brand logo for their company to sketching a fantasy character for an e-novel. I have found clients via college postings, word-of-mouth, and online forums. Currently, my method of choice for finding clients is the amazing website, Fiverr.
I'm a hobby YouTuber, specializing in sketch comedy. With occasional help from family and friends, I have made several short videos showcasing my off-the-wall brand of humor. My skills in video include:
Script Writing & Storyboarding
Blocking & Directing Scenes
Acting & Voice Overs
Video Editing with Adobe Premiere
Optimizing Video Files for YouTube
I began making videos in college, and have since
